Im on a low carb diet. You can have any meat you want bake or even fried in olive oil but no breading unless you use almond or coconut flour. They make an almond coconut milk that is delicious and has very few carbs. You can have all the leafy greens vegetables you want. Limit your intake of dried beans and peas. No potatoes, rice, noodles, bread and any starchy vegetables. They make rice cauliflower and veggies noodles. Then are quite good. No corn, limit intake of carrots and tomatoes. If you peeland deseed the tomatoes you can have all you want. Avoid dark vegetables like bell peppers, squash, eggplant. If you peel and deseed them you can have them. Use real butter. Start out at 50g of carbs per day. You can go lower as you adjust. Of course no sugar. You can have Atkins bars they are low in carbs. Go on the internet and find all kinds of recipes to break up the monopoly of just plan vegetables. They are very good. You can have 90% coco barks dark chocolate. It's one of the easiest diet i have been on. If you don't really need to lose weight stay around 100 g of carbs .

to those who don't like vegetables and love carbs........to a big plate of veggies, I add just a little pasta and some low sodium grated cheese ...
