In 2013, when I was diagnosed my bp was thru the roof after the left heart Cath, I immediately was prescribed sidenifil (I now take 3 - 3times a day) last week Kaiser has me redoing all the normal tests to evaluate my severity. My doctor tells me that the with the echo they can only estimate how high the pressure is. A Right Heart Cath would be more accurate.
Yes you should be concerned. Pressure in lungs should be 25 or lower to be normal. My pressure was 43 one time and 38 one time and 47 another time.Dr said it was moderate high. Wrote me a prescription for [[treatment:sildenafil:59b7098bff29502bb8a490a5]] but ins co. would not pay. Later wrote me a prescription for tadalafil and in’s co would only pay for 30 pills every 75 days and dr wanted me take 2 a day. Guess I need to get a right heart cath and maybe in’s will pay if it is high.
Right heart cath does help and show a lot. Pulmonary artery pressures, atrium pressures and oxygen circulation can also be found. Have you had a rhc before? I have had 6 or 7 of them. My last one showed my atrium pressure is 5 which is heart and means my heart is pumping better.
A blockage was found in my right side of the heart through a echo scan it now have to take stats to keep my blood think also my bones is getting weaker so have to take stuff for that also I believe one thing leads to another babs Hartlepool UK
