Right side of my heart is enlarged and they are saying I need valve replaced.
On 6/1 had several diagnostic tests. A nuclear stress test. And i believe a scan right after and about 3 hrs later. Also had echocardiogram and EKG. Result..told everything looked fine, have a valve reguritation.not sure what valve and some blockage in carotid arteries. But want to wait to put a stent in. I need a right hip replacement. My lung Dr tells me i can not have surgery becausei will die on table because intubation, anesthesia will blow my lungs out. Has anyone else been told this???

I have been diagnosed with Scleroderma and am not sure if I have pulmonary problems. I usually work out on a stationery bike for 1/2 hour, 3x a week. On those days I can’t do anything else. Most other days, I can do one thing a day, such as laundry, vacuuming, etc. I’m asleep by 2 pm and seldom am able to visit with friends. Since being diagnosed with PH a little over a year ago I find myself constantly tired and almost always short of breath, even when doing simple things like tying my shoes, climbing stairs getting out of a chair short walks among other things. I am using remodulin sub q. I have had such good results reducing pressures that my doctor may switch me to pill form which is Orenitram. I do worry though as i hear it is not as effective at reducing pressures. How has it worked for you?
