Have your doctor order a HAST (High Altitude Simulation Test) test for you. It will let you know how long you can be in a plane with a pressurized cabin and at what altitude, etc. The test is offered at many large teaching hospitals and is very easy for a patient to take. It’s very similar to a PFT.
