Im so sorry to hear of her passing. May you find comfort in your memories of her.
Yes you can. My employer helped me get it thru the company law firm. A perk we got working for a medical firm.
Hi Debra, that is where I went and they gave me all the paper work to fill out. But from there I went to our local Aging Disability Resource Center. And they helped me fill everything out. Do you have a ADRC in your area? If you do, I would see if they could help you out. I wish you all the best! Keep me posted. @A myPHteam Member. Love ♥️ Hugs 🫂 and Prayers 🙏
Having any form of PH should qualify you for SSDI, but be prepared to initially get rejected. Most of us who had gotten SSDI got it on appeal. I did my appeal on my own (for a different lung issue) and it was a frustrating process.
I don’t know if this is true, but I was told that close to 90% of SSDI applications initially get rejected as a matter of course.
My deepest condolences to you and your family. May she rest in eternal peace. May the Lord give you strength and comfort during these days.
