We are looking to possibly move to the Tucson AZ area and I wanted to know if anyone had any insights into the PAH medical support available

I live in Scottsdale. There are currently 5 PH Clinics in the state of Arizona with a 6th starting up. Only 1 is in Tucson that I know of. i believe it is a joint effort between Banner and U of A Med School.

I go to a clinic in Phoenix.

OK...That's the only one I was able to find. It is probably fairly new since the PHA will only "accredit" a clinic that has been established for over 5 years. The clinic I go to is in its 6th year and has just started the process of getting the official accreditation from the PHA. And I think my clinic is fabulous...So don't let it scare you.

Once you become established with the clinic, get them to recommend cardiologist and pulmonologist support that they are familiar with and confident in. I have heard very mixed feedback about cardio and pulmonary specialists NOT affiliated with the clinic in terms of what they truly know about PH.or PAH.
