Bill: PH isn’t measured in “stages” like other progressive illnesses. It is measured in functional classes. I am considered to be PH Group 2, Class 3. When I am at my computer I will try to find the class breakdowns for you. But my PH is considered to be MILD even though I am functional class 3 ( out of 4). I do not yet need O2 24/7. My edema is well in control. I have not yet had a heart attack though I am in and out of Afib and Tachycardia
I am hoping when Winrevair gets approved for Group 2 it will reverse my symptoms even more and buy me even more time.
Heather, I've had the ablation before my PAH diagnosis. It's understandable to be scared. Mine went well. Prayers for your anxiety and the procedure. Happy Sunday!
@A myPHteam Member. Will be praying for you! 🙏
In general, no. I’ve already survived what was a “terminal cancer” diagnosis 37 years ago. I have more of a warrior mentality.
On the other hand, I will be learning in a couple of weeks if I need to have an ablation. That is scaring the sh*t out of me.
Do you get alot of anxiety
