You've been provided with some excellent resources. I've been able to secure financial assistance through The Assistance Fund for the last two years. Even though my husband and I are able to live well, without copay assistance there is no way we could afford my PAH or asthma medications. As my pulmonologist said, "Unless you're Bill Gates no one can afford most PAH medications." On a side note, if you are unable to afford basic necessities such as utilities or food, look into the resources available in your area. I volunteer in an area food pantry. Income limits are quite generous. There are also several churches in our area that have food pantries or can provide assistance with utilities.
