Maybe @A myPHteam Member will come along and help point you towards a care team as she lives in upstate New York. I know there's a PH Clinic at University of Rochester but I'm not sure what's in the closer Buffalo area.

Sometimes people have to travel to get to PH Clinics. I'm lucky that I live in a county in Arizona that has no less than 4 PH Clinics.

Oh my! A diagnosis of PH is not complete until you have been classified into a subset. The World Health Organization has divided PH into 5 groups: - The WHO classifies patients with PH into five groups based on etiology:
- **Group 1**: Pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH), also known as precapillary PH.
- **Group 2**: PH due to left-sided heart disease.
- **Group 3**: PH due to lung disorders and hypoxemia.
- **Group 4**: PH due to pulmonary artery obstructions.
- **Group 5**: PH associated with different or mixed mechanisms.

Each group has a completely separate management plan. You refer to PAH but PAH is only Group 1. PAH is a subset grouping. Is that the group you were classified into?

The diagnostic process for PH is complex and can take an extended period of time. My own diagnostic journey took just about a full calendar year starting after about 3 years of undiagnosed symptoms. I was first incorrectly classified as being Group 1 PAH but continuing testing corrected my group assignment to Group 2 and my medications had to be changed.

The testing I had included: (not in correct order)
Bi-Heart Cath
Cat scan with contrast
Right Heart Cath x3 including Fluid Challenge in last one
Pulmonary Function tests
6 minute walks
Sleep Study
Lung Perfusion test
Traditional Echocardiogram
PH Protocol Echocardiogram with contrast
Bubble test

When you look for your pressure numbers, they might be written as systolic/diastolic/mean (ie 30/15/25) and the Wedge reading might be tagged as PAWP or PCWP.
