I am like many of you, when I do household chores I have to rest after 15-20 min., I will sit, I do recover pretty quickly, then I get back at it. If I don't feel up to it, it just has to wait until the next day. I will be 70 next month. I usually take a short nap in the afternoon unless we are out and about. The warm weather and sunshine gives me more energy and motivation to get outside and do some things, the winter months up north brings on seasonal affective disorder, (SAD), to many. My college students went through this every winter quarter, we would walk them outside if it warmed up and the sun was out, just to get some real Vit D. It would make a difference for them. You feel like a hibernated bear and want to sleep all the time. Exercise helps too, but modify it for you, rest when you have to, do only what you can, every little bit helps. Hang in there!!
I rest in between chores, stairs, walking, etc... I'm 59. When I rest I actually get more done then when I try to push myself.
I'm glad I'm not alone and imaging my fatigue. Thanks all for sharing.
I just want to say that being here is definitely an educational experience. If for no other reason, when people talk about their comorbidity conditions, there are so many I have never even heard of whatsoever. It is interesting to stop for a moment & really think about how many health conditions are out there that people (the human race) have the potential to become afflicted w/.
Yes, I have to rest between things. Bending down to look for or do something is the worst.
