Your PH Clinic should have an employee (maybe part time) whose role is to help you in getting financial assistance. If you are not going to a PH Clinic, your care team’s medical assistant should know how to get you a grant.
Initially I was (incorrectly) diagnosed as Group 1 and my clinic coordinated my grant applications for Opsumit and Adempas. When I was reclassified as Group 2 I went off those meds but my cardiologist’s medical assistant coordinated my getting Jardiance for free directly from the manufacturer and also coordinated my attempt to get free Eliquis (which I got rejected for)
Fortunately, my insurance from my employer is good and covers both my PAH meds w/o any copay. Not sure what I will do after retirement, but will cross that bridge then…
I have Medicare do you qualify mine called catastrophic coverage tge names scary bit it covers all my medicine 100% I'm only 45 but I am so grateful to have Medicare
@A myPHteam Member When you retire, I would suggest you choose Medicare B and D rather than going onto an Advantage Plan. Unless things change between now and then, you may find more support from the D plans as opposed to the Advantage coverage.

Heather's right. Most physician offices that manage PAH patients have someone that coordinates and finds financial assistance for patients on PAH medications. There are lots of options out there. You just have to be persistent. I personally have been able to secure co-pay assistance through The Assistance Fund (www.tafcares.org).
