Nitric Oxide inhalation therapy is done in a Dr's office. Because it is an inhaled vapor, how could it have a lasting effect because unlike pills that are taken every so often to renew the beneficial effects to the system (body), the nitric oxide inhalation can't be taken every few hrs.?

According to AI, it is short lived and the effects don't last that long. It goes on to mention that there are other medications that can be used in conjunction w/ NO to lengthen & enhance the effects of the inhaled NO.
