Members shared a variety of over-the-counter cold remedies they use with pulmonary arterial hypertension, including Coricidin HBP, Delsym, Tylenol, saline sprays, Mucinex, allergy medications like Claritin and Xyzal, and home remedies such as hot tea with honey and chicken soup. Several members emphasized the critical importance of checking every medication with your PH specialist and cardiologist before taking it, as certain ingredients like zinc and decongestants can raise blood pressure and may be unsafe for those with PH. A recurring theme was the need to create a vetted list of safe medications with your doctors, discard anything contraindicated, and ask for approved alternatives to ensure you can manage cold symptoms without compromising your heart and lung health.

Hi there Heather… I have a chair that I use in the kitchen. You have to buy a walker with a seat in it a nice one put the wheels on backwards and then it will move forward as you sit on it. It works for me in the kitchen.
