Thank you so much. This helps me out. I hope everything is good when you go in November. I go back in January to see my Pulmonary Doctor and to do an Echo. Stay strong.
I was on Opsumit and did well on it till I was taken off due to my being reclassified as Group 2 instead of Group 1. My only lingering side effect was stuffed nose but I was able to handle that with Arm & Hammer NIGHTTIME Simply Saline Nasal spray. Worked really well.
You are very welcome Deborah. I will be praying for you when you go in January for echo. Praying it shows your pressure being way down. 🙏 take care and God bless. ❤️
Hi Deborah, I have no side effects with opsumit. The only one I had bad side effects was with uptravi, but I don't have anymore side effects from it. Uptravi is another med to treat PAH. And yes I am on oxygen. I used to be on it 24/ 7 but now I only have to use it when I walk for exercise and at night. In July when I started sotatercept they did not take me off any of my other meds. I feel like meds are helping. My oxygen level is getting better. 2 years ago I could not hardly walk at all. I am now walking 2 - 3 20min walks a day. But my Drs think I should be doing alit better with all the meds that I am on. So they are saying I might havevto go on pump. My pressure in lungs is not going down. They have not checked it since I started sotatercept. In November I have a app for echo so wr will see what pressure is. My last RHC pressure was 86. The one before that was 94. I wish you well.
I think I replied to you by accident. I will tell you that the Opsumit made me very dizzey at first and a real bad stuffy nose. Did it you do that way? Also are you on oxygen all the time? I also take Viagra and Floresmide every day with 2 inhalers. One inhaler twice a day and the other for emergencies only.
