@A myPHteam Member ask your doctor to write a prescription for the RSV vaccine stating the reason why you must have it despite your age. If you already have a prescription for the shot yet the pharmacist still refused to give it to you, I'd suggest going to another pharmacy. When you have PAH risk you are at greater risk of hospitalization if you contract RSV.
What a load of crap. There is no specific medication to treat RSV. It's crazy how all medical people have their own beliefs and ways of doing things. I went through the same thing with 2 different Dr's over the pneumonia shot. Which I finally ended up getting.
My pulmonologist recommended the vaccine gor me. The pharmacist refused to let me have it stating it wasn't recommended gor my age, I call bs, what does she have to do with it when a Dr orders it. I was not happy with thst pharmacist.
