My dr got me signed with Janssen. They contacted me and I just signed papers. I have been very blessed with a good medical team. If I have any problem, I just turn it over to them. So far. I take Opsumit, Seldenafil, and lasix.
Hi Elaine. I was able to get help but had to jump through a few hoops. There were a couple major questions I had to answer before getting help. 1. Do I have a Medicare group D coverage? And 2. Had I contacted that specific insurance company to see if opsumit was covered under my plan? Once I was able to answer “yes” to both of those questions I contacted Janssen, the manufacturer of Opsumit. When someone answered I just told them I needed assistance with copays since my Medicare covered Opsumit. They were able to walk me through, step by step. Just follow the steps! By the way, this has been the first med that I really feel helps me, too! ❤️
Good to know! You sound like a real pro jumping those hoops. It’s good to see very independent patients here!💕💕💕💕

If you are taking Opsumit (macitentan) and need help with the expense, there are several options available:
- Janssen CarePath: This program helps cover the costs of copays, deductibles, and coinsurance for people with eligible health insurance plans. Those who qualify may pay $5 for each prescription fill of Opsumit
