Has any one had a BNP blood test done. Mine was extremely high.

Yes I get them measured every two weeks. Talk to your Dr about where you go from here. If they don’t discuss it with you, make sure you discuss it with them.

I have NT-proBNPs done every 3 months as I currently do not have right-sided heart failure. Whether you have a BNP or NT-proBNP these tests are use to assess hormone levels that detect heart failure also known as congestive heart failure.

Yes, mine was 849. I was told it meant heart failure however since I have been on Opsumit it has come down significantly. Good luck and think positive thoughts. Sending encouragement

Yes, I have had it as high at 4200, and as low as 1200. Right now it's 1653. I have congestive heart failure and so this test helps to see how well I may or may not be doing.
