You know Lori I got on the list but then I started having heart problems so they took me off and gave me more medicine. It got better and they said they could put me back on the list. After alot of researching, and watching a video, I decided that there was no way I was gonna do it. So you should talk with your doctors and do alot of soul searching before you take that giant step.

My cousins husband gad one a few years ago, this year his body decided to reject it.

Besides, I believe that after a certain age the eligibility is no longer there. I could be wrong tho.

Cut off age is 75. I'm currently trying to get listed. I've been through the intense workup. Was denied 1st time I went before transplant board. I'm hopeful for approval this time. If not, I will probably not try a 3rd time. Not sure when board meets. It's usually once a month. Two Drs told me everyone was in agreement that I needed double 🫁 but surgeons had concerns.🙂

My cousins husband has had a lung transplant a few years ago. It was done in Pennsylvania. Im not sure the reason. He is doing really well now.
