In the context provided, there is a mention of a person who has been doing well off oxygen at work but still brings their oxygen with them for times when they might need it. This suggests that with proper management and treatment, some individuals with pulmonary hypertension might be able to reduce their dependency on supplemental oxygen during certain activities or in specific settings, such as at work. However, it's crucial to have a personalized discussion with a healthcare provider to assess the safety and feasibility of reducing oxygen use based on one's specific health condition and oxygen needs.

I was thinking that too, that there isn't an instant fix and I know it doesn't go away, we just manage the symptoms.

I agree with this anwser, as I go out for walks, I do volunteer work but my PH has fluctuations whereas somedays I need the supplemental oxygen and need to use it and I'm homebound. I'm not totally dependent on oxygen yet, but depending on the day and how I'm feeling determines whether I can manage for several hours without needing oxygen. I wouldn't be able to hold down a job as I'm no longer reliable.
