How do you like it? What 02 flow?Had you previously used tanks on outings-how do you compare the 2?Im looking at buying one but nervous as I’m on 4L…not sure if it’ll work for me …To clarify if you previously used tanks are you using the same pulse dose settling on the POC or are you using a higher pulse dose rate? Bought one for out of town use…I like I can plug it into the car to both charge and power the unit….it is heavier especially with the large battery.I’ve become unsteady due to the… read more

Members shared their experiences with portable oxygen concentrators (POCs) like the Inogen G5 and Oxygo Next, with most agreeing that while these devices can be heavy, they offer far greater freedom and convenience than lugging around traditional oxygen tanks, especially with the ability to charge in the car. Several members described using pulse dose settings between levels 2 and 4, noting that POCs work well for those who can stay at level 3 or below, though some found the battery life limiting and recommended accessories like rollators, backpacks, or larger batteries to make outings easier. A recurring theme was gratitude for the independence POCs provide, allowing members to avoid the anxiety of running out of oxygen while stuck in traffic and giving them the confidence to walk, shop, and travel more comfortably.

Hey 👋🏽. I use the QxgoNext. I’m on lev4 when I’m out it does get heavy. Still I prefer it to the tanks. Each time I left home (with an extra tank) getting in traffic stuck in traffic for hours and running out of oxygen. But with my oxgonext can changed n the car. U can order a backpack to use.

Hi Janine. Thank you! I have to carry those tanks around and they are definitely a pain! Remaining thankful - some oxygen is better than no oxygen🙂

I have the freestyle, its what the company i go through was able to get. Im only on 2 Ltd, the battery doesn't last as long as I'd like, only up to 4 hrs, but there is a care charger as well as wall charger for it and you can buy a bigger battery. Good luck.

I use a Inogen oxygen purse to go out with and a big concentrator hooked up to my CPAP at night. I am on level 3 on both. I don’t use the purse concentrator all the time, only when I am walking around the grocery store or when I exert myself.

Mine is an intogen One. It is like a purse. I use it to walk around. It only goes to 6 liters. It is battery operated. I also have one that is hooked up to my CPAP machine at night.
