Does Anyone Else Feel Trapped When It Comes To Cold Weather?
I know having PAH or PH, you are supposed to keep everything protected so you don't harm your heart and lungs and I feel sad because I like to shovel the driveway and I can no longer do that anymore
Yes, I do feel trapped with this frigid weather, it’s 17° with a wind chill of 3°. Too cold! I will stay in until it gets back up above 32°.
Many people with pulmonary hypertension (PH) feel trapped or struggle during cold weather. Members of the myPHteam community have shared experiences such as:
- "I have a much harder time breathing when I go outside."
- "I am really struggling with the cold weather."
- "It’s cold, and it affects my breathing."

I don't make any unnecessary trips in the cold but I do have to go to work and it's regularly , 20d degrees (F) in the morning.
15° here today, not going out. My doggy doesn't want to go out. I tried to get her out on the porch to potty and she ran and hid under the bed. Luckily my niece and her husband came to clear my ramp and walkway and put more salt yesterday. I had tried to clear my ramp and porch the other day, but became very short of breath and had to stop. I am a Southern CA native and not used to this cold.
