I Had My Right-side Cardo Procedure This Past Wednesday

Shrewsbury, PA

I was told the PH was due to fluid buildup. They have put me on a diuretic 40 mg in the morning and 20 mg in the afternoon. I was also put on low sodium diet. Who has had the same results.

Yes, diuretics can really help. I take either 40 mg or 60 mg around 2 or 3 a.m. then go right back to sleep. I get up maybe 3 times before regular getting up time & pass between 1,000 ml to 1,800 ml - lots of fluid. My doc says it helps laying down to pass that much fluid. Also started taking Ipsumit & a positive side effect for me is much better quality sleep. Of course, I weigh myself every morning to help deciding what dose of Lasix to take next day. Let’s get it done.

Tom, I had the same thing and with that much diuretic you will find a need to carry a bed pan with you wherever you go. The good news is how much weight you will lose. Hang in there and keep the spirits high the body flushes out pretty fast.!
