Look there just ticking of boxes trying to rule out stuff because they can't get medication right and they have no idea what's going on with me and my PAH.
I'm at the stage were I just want to get on and live a someway normal life, at the moment I can't walk 200metres without nearly fainting, I'm 34 I'm 2 years into my treatment and I feel worse than when I first presented in the hospital.
Rant over now ha
Thanks for your reply
They tried oxygen when I was in hospital for a week and it went from 89% to 91% so they said it's not really worth it. Now the last 3 or 4 weeks I can't get seem to get it over 85% when resting and it's dropping to 69% with little exertion which hasn't happened before, just emailed the doctors yesterday to tell them I'm in a bit of bother so hopping to hear back today.
Can you get up and just walk around your space for a few minutes? Can you use some small hand weights and do some arm exercises while sitting? If you don’t have weights use canned foods or water bottles filled with sand. Anything to keep moving. I am luckier than most on this site as I can exercise daily, not with the same intensity. And I get my 10,000 steps in most days. I do push myself and I am very tired. But I have always pushed myself. Some days that’s my only feeling of accomplishment. Please don’t be hard on yourself. This disease is so devastating. And learning to go from being active throughout the day to barely moving on some days is very disheartening. Let us know how you are doing.
So very frustrating for you. I hate that getting any answer from health care providers is so darn hard. If they don’t know, just tell me. I am so sorry you have to go through this at your young age.
