@A myPHteam Member, is so right. I take Orenetram and it messes with me all the time. I have to take it though so, I take Benadryl. with it. They put me on a different medication at first and I can't remember the name of it. That was even worse for me so I had to choose which to take. I am learning that sometimes I have to find a way to deal with it and move on. I am not going to let is take control. Not yet anyway.
Joan, there are a lot of side effects to most PAH medications. Most, fortunately, are short term. The trick is learning how to manage the side effects. Without medications, PAH will definitely win in the long run. I don't feel that I have any other option than to embrace the medications.
Everyone is different. I take it and have never had a problem. It helps me.
Okay. Thanks for responding!
Thats encouraging, as I'd rather not go from one med to another. It seems that there are alot of side effects to all these meds.
Joan
I did. I also noticed more heart palpitations. Fortunately, the symptoms were short lived and resolved well within 2 weeks. Incidentally, now that I am on both Tadalafil and Ambrisentan the shortness of breath has become much less noticeable, and I seldom am experiencing heart palpitations.
