Last week I had an echocardiogram that said my pressures are normal. WTF If I was misdiagnosed, I'm not sure if should laugh or cry
What were your preasures on the RSC in March . That is strange RSC said you have it but a echo saids you dont have it . Do you have any symptoms ? Once you been dignoised you cant get rid of PH its a disease you will have to deal with the rest of your life and be on all kind of meds just to manange the disease from progressing Do you have a Pulmonary Doctor whos specializes in PH ? if not you need to get one . My Cardioligistis is very nice and goes way and beyond for her patients but she knows very little about this but my Pulmonoligist is specialized in this horible disease that we all suffer from .
You need both a pulmonary who specializes in PH and PAH and a Cardioligist . I dont know if you read my story if you havent you should i been through so much in the last 27 months .
I go in and out of the Hospital to this day . 🤗❤️
Thank you so much for your response. I had right side cath in March, which indicated PH. I have been on Sildenafil for the past 8 months. My doctor sent me for an echo. Apparently the echo shows normal pressures. Am I a freak of nature? Been cured? Never had it in the first place?? I guess now would be a good time to get a second opinion
Hi Jeanette i just added you to my team . Thats so crazy you ask that question
Something simular happened to me last year . I had a angiogram and my Pulmonary preasures are elevated at first and it said it came back adnormal then they did a echocardiogram and said your preasures are fine . Then i had to be Hospitalized for Chest Preasure Pain Really bad Shortness of breath and dizzness . Then the Hospital send me to get a Rightside Catherization and found my Pulmonary Preasures were high . So point im trying to make is be presisted with these doctors on how you feel and tell them can they do a RSC The gold standard to tell once in for all if you have it is Right side Catherization
You need to catch it early as possible
and get on medications to control it the better.Sadly there are alot out there who were misdignoisedfor years with something else and then to find out they have PH or PAH its already in a advanced stage already and would be hard to control .at that point I wish you the beast . If you have any question feel free to ask .
That is kinda of messed up. I would feel the same as you. So I can't offer advice but my support...cheers!
Thats so crazy Jeanette about your numbers on the RSC but then they say you dont have PH from a recent echo . That doesnt make any sense . You keep on top of that i will keep you in my prayers also . I read alittle bit about your story i see your a nurse that works with Mental health patients . That so awsome . I used to work as a Assistant Mental Health worker for the School District for 24years i loved working in that field then i had to go on a medical leave and then on Nov 2 i had to resign do to Covid Complications and on going severe health issues and had to apply for disability Retirement from my job . If you have any other concerns or question feel free to ask
You will learn aot of imformation and meet alot of awsome people on here who can relate and support each other I hope everthing works out for you ❤️🤗💪🏽
