It’s Lori again. I forgot to say I’m 74, have PH, and arthritis. And nerve pain in my legs after knee replacements both legs.

yes hoping you are having a good day
Hi, Lori. I’m amazed at the fact you could walk a mile!! Good for you, not good because of the pain and exhaustion. It’s a double whammy because of the arthritis and PH.
I’m newly diagnosed but have spent the last 3 weeks researching. Never had to charge my phone so much! It sounds like you are experiencing the typical symptoms of PH. I would keep a journal of your activities, the symptoms they cause, and how long it takes to recover. That’s valuable information for your cardiologist and/or pulmonologist.
Unfortunately, I’m at level IV so my symptoms do not even allow me to stand upright, so I can’t tell you about walking such a long distance. I do know my psoriatic arthritis would for sure not allow me to walk that far. I get exhausted doing a transfer from bed to wheelchair to be toileted. It’s really weird how things can change so quickly!
If you have not already read this, I am sending you a link to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association’s newly diagnosed booklet. If you are a “techy”, this can be downloaded it’s a pdf or you can have one mailed to you. If you have seen it already, please excuse my eagerness to share😀

I hope you continue to understand your symptoms, Lori. PH is so different from person to person so the treatments are tailored, not set in stone.
Have a good evening.
keep praying ,this is what helps me .
