I learned long ago not to worry about what other people say or look at. If having a wheelchair will enable you to do what you want, go for it. You have to do what is right for you. Go get one and use it with pride

Absolutely get you a motorized wheelchair or scooter. I have a scooter and it has given me much more freedom. I use it when I go on vacation and when I go out to eat or get groceries. You won't regret it. Don't worry about what others think. I've never had anyone say anything rude to me. I was 51, which is not old, when I got mine.

Today I went out in public with my oxygen concentrators in my backpack. I had been feeling insecure about using it it public. It was a good day. I was able to shop several different stores without fatigue and i didn't get a lot of strange looks. Feeling empowered!
