Has Anyone Ever Had An Allergic Reaction To The O2 Tubing?

Has Anyone Ever Had An Allergic Reaction To The O2 Tubing?

My chest and neck are red..they feel very irritated. Face is fine. Rolled over on my tubing 2 days ago, and I had a place on my arm..used cortisone cream on that...that is almost gone. I will call someone tomorrow. Who? Pulmonologist? O2 supplier?

Angie,
I have no issues with the tubing however my mother has a allergy to latex. She has no problems with the tubing...I was just reading the posts and thought it may be helpful.

Hey sweetie, have you had an issue with your tubing before? I would call the pulmonologist to let them know if you haven't already done that, then call the O2 supplier to see if anyone else has had this reaction. I am wondering if from the heat of your body and the tubing which normally doesn't get headed up, it caused this issue. Just a thought.
