Blood Clots

Do you have a concern about blood clots?

Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension (CTEPH) is a rare and progressive form of PH. It is caused by blood clots that don’t dissolve in the lungs. These clots cause scar-like tissue that clogs up or narrows the small blood vessels in the lungs.

Here is a link to information about blood clots in Pulmonary Hypertension. When I was diagnosed in 2012 it was one of the first things I was tested for.

Thanks for the reply. I was just diagnosed with bilateral blood clots. I suffer from PH, and Pulmonary Fibrosis. Per haps the clots were caused by the Fibrosis. The Docs at Johns Hopkins put me on Eliquest.
